On this page, we have posted
some pictures which will give you some idea of what the films
will look like once installed on glass. Due to
differences in computer monitors, display adaptors and browser
software, it can be difficult to display the exact color of any
particular film over the internet. The best way to actually see
and compare the films is to order a sample pack.
Our product range is very
broad. If you need assistance in selecting a film, visit our
Film Selection Guide. You can scroll this page to see pictures of some of our most popular
films. Check our complete

Choosing
From Light to Dark & Choosing A Film Construction |
|
|
|
|
Each of our
film constructions is available in different versions (from
light to dark). Here is an example of how 4 different densities
control the amount of light entering a room. Note that the
lower the film number, the darker the film. All
Concord Films block 98% or more of the Ultra-Violet light, to help
reduce the fading of fabrics and interior furnishings. |

Choosing a
Type of Film (Film Construction) |
|
|
|
|
Your solar control objective
will help determine which type of film is best suited for your
application. Here are some examples of the different types of
film, categorized by particular objectives. You can decide which
is best based upon performance or simply make your choice based upon
how they look on the glass. |

Silver Reflective films are
made with micro-thin layers of aluminum and are able to block as much
as 78% of the solar heat. They have a mirrored appearance as
pictured below. The picture on the right shows the same windows
as seen from the inside, during daylight hours. At night, when
it is dark outside and the lights are on inside, the windows may
become like mirrors making it difficult to see outside at night.
This can be overcome by dimming the lights or switching to a Neutral
Type Film, as pictured below. Silver Reflective Films are
available in 68%, 53%, 35% and 15%. The lower the number, the
darker the film. Silver Films may be applied to double pane
glass. |

Neutral Residential Series
Films are made with a combination of dyed and metalized layers.
This blended construction provides heat control without the highly
reflective "mirrored" appearance of Silver Reflective films.
Available in 50%, 35% and 20%. The lower the number, the darker
the film. The 20% version should not be applied to double pane
glass. |

Made with dyed polyester
layers (and without metal) these films are a good choice when reducing
glare and enhancing privacy is the primary objective. Available
in 50%, 35%, 20% and 5%. The lower the number, the darker the
film. 20% and 5% should not be applied to double pane windows,
however. |

Matte films
create a frosted "shower door" or "sandblasted" appearance. The
films are translucent / opaque but still provide privacy. This is an
example of frost white matte. Note how
light is transmitted, but objects behind are obscured.

to remove and reuse the film is a benefit for some customers, although
these films do not have the
same optical clarity and solar control
properties when compared to traditional adhesive type window films. |
